- Ok, to set up a GRAPHIC menu in RemoteAccess 2.50 (& probably all previous
- versions as well) first set up your menu with all the options that you want
- included. (The easiest way is too use the menu templates that come with
- RemoteAccess and simply alter them to your needs.) MAKE SURE EACH OPTION YOU
- HAVE HAS A HOTKEY! Then, using a program like THEDRAW (ANSI drawing prog),
- design a new, or edit an existing .ANS file to how you want your menu to look
- and be sure to include the HOTKEYS/OPTIONS you have used in your menu
- configuration in RACONFIG. Save it to your TXTFILES dir and name it
- appropriately (for easy ID) and then return to RACONFIG and the menu
- configuration.
-
- In the first line of your menu, insert a line something like this:
-
- Use option 40 - Display ans/asc file with menu hotkeys
-
- In the DISPLAY field, BE SURE to put a ; (semi-colon)
- * as a matter of fact, every line should have a
- ; in your menu configuration. If you experience
- problems with displaying your .ANS files, it's
- probably because you have left a ; out somewhere!
-
- In the OPTDTA field, put the NAME of the ANSI file that
- is to be displayed. eg. if the file is called MENU.ans,
- simply put MENU - no extension and no path. If the .ANS
- file is saved in the correct dir, it will work!
- (something like C:\RA250\TXTFILES).
-
- Make this auto-executable by selecting the appropriate
- option. (ie. NO HOTKEY for this!)
-
- That should be it. Piece of piss! If you have any problems, let me know.
- I hope I explained it ok.........cya round :) BLUD
